Progress and team spirit at STUV

Success through innovation and commitment!

At STUV, innovation and the development of our employees are key priorities. Tim Beckmann from our toolmaking department is a prime example of this. Alongside his work ,he recently successfully completedhis further training as a technician – and realised an outstanding project in the process.

Working in a team with three fellow students, Tim focused on optimising our key production machine (SPINNER). The aim was to automate manual production steps using a robot system. The result: a self-built deburring device that will soon be integrated into the robot system. This has saved 880 operating hours and reducedpersonnel deployment by 11% – a valuable relief that frees up capacity for other tasks.
