STEINBACH & VOLLMANN GmbH (STUV) is taking over Lock Your World GmbH, the innovative provider of electronic locking systems, into its new Digital Solutions business unit as part of a transferring reorganisation. The long-established company for reliable locking solutions ranging from quarter turns to complete control technology for high-security systems is thus strengthening its position in the dynamically developing market for high-security electronic locking systems.

With PYLOCX®, STUV - a leading manufacturer of mechanical and electronic high-security technology and lock systems for over 140 years - has the most secure locking system in the world in its portfolio. PYLOCX®is a protected trademark and is based on technology that we have patented ourselves. It is the only maintenance-free locking system approved by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) for critical infrastructure, including for the transport of smart meters (SilKe) and in digital radio.

The PYLOCX®locking system simplifies access for authorised persons while remaining impenetrable for unauthorised persons. It is more than just a lock, because logistics chains and decentralised locations can be secured with the secure authentication of authorised persons. The system is simple and intuitive to operate, maintenance-free and works independently of electricity. This is because the energy required for the locking process is suppliedby the key, the so-called PYKEY®.

The acquisition means that the ground-breaking PYLOCX®locking system and a whole range of other innovative Lock your World productswill not only become part of STUV's extensive product range, but also of STUV's strategy for the future. A strategy that will benefit both the company and its customers in many ways.

For the Heiligenhaus-based company, the new portfolio and cooperation with the team in Bad Orb are key factors in expanding its position in the international market for high-security electronic locking systems and supply chains. In addition to retaining all jobs at Lock Your World, STUV is also planning to increase its human resources for the planned growth. STUV wants to become more efficient, creative and fit for future challenges for increasingly specialised high-security locking solutions.
