Modern police station with innovative security technology: Würzburg Police Station
Following extensive renovation and expansion work between 2012 and 2017, the Würzburg City Police Station now shines in new splendour. At a cost of around 18.8 million euros, the listed main building from the 1950s was almost completely gutted and renovated. A modern three-storey extension complements the existing structure and provides sufficient space for the police's diverse tasks. The ground floor houses the station with the duty teams, while the upper floors contain offices and a multifunctional room. The basement mainly houses technical rooms, changing rooms and detention rooms.
