Security for critical telecommunications infrastructure

Review of TowerXchange 2025

On April 23 and 24, 2025 ,we were atTowerXchange in London—one of the most important trade shows for telecommunications infrastructure. The event provided a platform for network operators, tower companies, and suppliers to discuss innovations and security solutions for cell towers and data centers.

At our booth, we presented our security solutions specifically designed for critical telecommunications equipment. These included the PYLOCX® swinghandle for control cabinets with integrated security half cylinder, the electronic PYLOCX® tube safe with VdS and BSI testing, the vandal-proof PYLOCX® security profile cylinder, the battery-free PYLOCX® security fitting and the PYKEY®mobile keypad for flexible opening ofPYLOCX® locks.

A particular highlight was our participation in the Dragon's Den Pitch competition, where Phillip Schickenberg presentedthe PYLOCX® system with the claim "Access when everything else fails." In the pitch, we emphasized the particular strength ofPYLOCX®: enabling secure and controlled access even when conventional access systems fail – a decisive advantage for operators of critical infrastructures.

We can look back on two successful days marked by numerous exciting discussions, lively interest in our solutions, and valuable feedback. We now look forward to deepening the contacts we have made and working together to further advance the security of critical telecommunications sites.
