Complete refurbishment of Bützow prison
The state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, represented by the BBL M-V, Neubrandenburg division, is currently carrying out basic repairs on the B building of the Bützow correctional facility. After the renovation, there will be 75 prison places in single and double cells with separate detention areas.
In recent years, the renovation of Hafthaus A, the Sterngebäude and Freistundenhof A has already been completed. In addition, the new Hafthäuser G and H buildings have been completed. The project consists of a total of 15 implementation phases and is scheduled for completion in 2027. The total investment costs for the state amount to around 79 million euros.
For the basic refurbishment, STUV is supplying high-security locks with mechanical and electronic equipment over a period of several years.
