The access control system for critical infrastructure.
PYLOCX®is a digital access control system that has been specially developed to meet the requirements of critical infrastructures. It combines battery-free locking components with the PYKEY®and PYCODE®to provide flexible, highly secure access control. The PYSUITE®management software is used to manage the system components and generatethe PYCODE®. Door and sensor monitors report the door or sensor status. This access control system is ideal for protecting sensitive areas such as energy, water or telecommunications networks.

PYLOCX®was developed, tested and certified for the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) in order to fulfil the special security requirements in the area of critical infrastructure, in particular the CER (Critical Entities Resilience) Directive of the European Union.

PYCODE®
What makes the one-time code so secure?
With conventional RFID/NFC locking systems, the user's authorisation is stored in a chip key, an RFID card or the NFC mobile phone. If you want to effectively revoke an authorisation immediately, this requires a blacklist that must be transferred to the lock on site.
Not with PYLOCX®: The one-time code is generated anew for each locking process. The loss of a PYKEY®therefore poses no security risk, as the PYKEY®has no functionwithout a matching PYCODE®.A blacklistis therefore not necessarywith the PYLOCX® system.

No problem! Each PYLOCX®can be configured so that 2 different PYKEY®sand PYCODE®sare required in succession to open the lock.

Data protection
Observe DSGVO & BetrVG!
If persons from outside the organisation (e.g. technicians from external service companies) are to use a mobile phone app to open the doors, conscious consent to data storage is generally required, granted without official compulsion. In addition, the storage of events could be subject to a consent requirement in accordance with the BetrVG.
Recommendation: Only use the PYKEY®(and not the PYAPP®) for persons outside the organisation. In this way, you avoid having to obtain an individual declaration of consent from external persons and do not risk a data protection breach.

PYSUITE®
The management software for managing authorisations.
Authorisations are assigned in the PYSUITE® software. Define a PYKEY®for a person or organisation and specify which locks may always be opened. You can also specify whether the PYCODE®shouldalways be requested by telephone or whether it should be retrievedusing PYAPP®itself.
