The access control system for critical infrastructure.
PYLOCX® is a digital access control system that has been specially developed for the requirements of critical infrastructures. It combines battery-free locking components with PYKEY® and PYCODE® to enable flexible, highly secure access control. The PYSUITE® management software is used to manage the system modules and generatethe PYCODE®. Door and sensor monitors report the door or sensor status. This access control system is ideal for protecting sensitive areas such as energy, water or telecommunications networks.

PYLOCX® was developed, tested and certified for the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) to meet the special security requirements in the area of critical infrastructure, in particular the CER (Critical Entities Resilience) Directive of the European Union.

PYCODE®
What makes the one-time code so secure?
With conventional RFID/NFC locking systems, user authorisation is stored in a chip key, an RFID card or the NFC mobile phone. If you want to revoke authorisation immediately, this requires a blacklist that must be transferred to the lock on site.
Not withPYLOCX®: The one-time code is generated anew for each locking operation. The loss of a PYKEY® therefore does not pose a security risk, as the PYKEY®is uselesswithout the matching PYCODE ®. A blacklist istherefore not necessarywiththe PYLOCX® system.

Would you like to ensure that only two people are allowed access to particularly sensitive areas at any one time?
No problem! Each PYLOCX® can be configured so that two different PYKEY®s and PYCODE®s are required in succession to open the lock.

Please note the GDPR and BetrVG (German Works Constitution Act)!
If persons from outside the organisation (e.g. technicians from external service companies) are to use a mobile phone app to open the doors, conscious consent to data storage, given without any official obligation, is generally required. In addition, the storage of events may be subject to consent in accordance with the BetrVG.
Recommendation: Only use PYKEY® (and not PYAPP®) for persons outside your organisation . This way, you avoid having to obtain individual declarations of consent from external persons and do not risk violating data protection regulations.

The management software for administering permissions.
Authorisation is granted in the PYSUITE® software. Store a PYKEY®for a person or organisation and specify which locks may be opened. You can also specify whether thePYCODE® mustalways be requested by telephone or whether it can be retrievedusing PYAPP®.
