We are looking for a trainee (m/f/d) to become a mechatronics engineer for our company headquarters in Heiligenhaus, starting on 1 August 2025. Our team of mechatronics engineers assembles components and assemblies with mechanical and electronic connections. Their tasks also include assembling and installing electrical and mechanical components and connecting locking systems. Other activities include commissioning our locking systems and maintaining and servicing them on site.

What you can expect from us
- You can expect a wide range of activities in various areas: electrical engineering/electronics, mechanics, and control and information technology
- Assembly of electrical and IT switchgear and control units
- Assembly of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic system components or assemblies
- Final assembly of machines, plants and systems
- Checking, maintaining, repairing and commissioning machines, plants and systems
- A comprehensive range of training courses
What you bring to our team
- You have at least a secondary school leaving certificate
- You have a good knowledge of mathematics and physics
- You have good spatial awareness, think logically and are resourceful
- You work conscientiously and reliably, and you are eager to learn and take initiative
- You are excited by new challenges and eager to contribute your ideas
Option: Dual study programme
If you have the appropriate qualifications and performance, we will be happy to offer you a dual study programme. Our cooperation partner is IU in Düsseldorf.
During your dual study programme, we will provide you with a solid foundation for this forward-looking and diverse career field. We also take current technological developments in mechatronics into account.
- You deal with mathematical and scientific fundamentals such as physics and mathematics.
- You will deal with engineering topics such as statics, materials science and technical thermodynamics.
- You will acquire knowledge about the design and analysis of technical systems with modules such as control engineering and signals & systems.
- You will gain important insights into computer science, apply current software tools and learn how to program with C/C++.
In 6 out of 7 semesters, you will complete a practical project, during which we will actively support you.
